For my recent bday we went road-tripping across the desert to far off places.  Our final destination was Moab, UT, with stops to Las Vegas, Bryce Canyon Nat’l Park, and then Vegas again.

Our first layover in Vegas

DSC_0258We explored Arches Nat’l Park and set up our base camp in Moab.

DSC_0337 DSC_0339 DSC_0343 DSC_0355 DSC_0358 DSC_0367The next day we were able to actually hike up to Delicate Arch.  Side note:  if you are ever at Delicate Arch during sunset, make sure you better not get in the way of anybody’s photography.  Sunset is apparently the best time to photograph the Delicate Arch.  The crowds are tough there.  They boo’d a little girl for getting too close to the arch.  Not even kidding.

This is the arch I discovered.  I named it Tiny-ass Arch

We also took a Hummer tour and met some rich, drunk UtahiansDSC_0418 DSC_0417 DSC_0407 DSC_0387On the way home we made stops in Bryce Canyon Nat’l Park and a couple nights in LV, again.
